INTENSE FOCUS is a stylish eyewear brand that produces eyewear for kids, adults, and young adults. They offer a variety of eyewear options made with different materials, colors, and carefully chosen details and designs by the founders. Their products are sold in 20 states through more than 3000 retail outlets and are distributed by over 17 distributors.
INTENSE FOCUS Financials & Revenue during Shark Tank India:
Founders has invested ₹5 Crores in INTENSE FOCUS and did around ₹33 Crores lifetime sales projection by FY23-24 end. In FY22-23, they did ₹8.25 Crores in sales. In FY23-24, they are projecting ₹14-₹15 crores in sales with 30% EBITDA. They manufactures 20% products in India and 80% products came from China through contract manufacturing. They sell 15,000-20,000 units per month.
Who are founders of INTENSE FOCUS?
INTENSE FOCUS is founded by Manish Ashokbhai Chauhan from Rajkot, Gujrat. He started as employee of small eyewear shop and started his busines venture from in 2017. He also own a manufacturing company and have a 23% equity stake. In INTENSE FOCUS, he hold 50% equity stake and rest 50% stake hold by other 2 Co-Founder.
INTENSE FOCUS Shark Tank India Negotiations & Funding:
Namita was the first shark to choose to opt out of negotiations because she didn’t find anything special about the design, comfort, and high prices of the eyewear. Azhur also chose to opt out because he felt that the founder held too strong of views and didn’t entertain other feedback.
Anupam believed that the business had two issues: a high working capital model, around 30%, and the practice of buying eyewear from their own company. Because of these issues, he chose to exit the negotiations. Amit decided to sideline himself from negotiations because he didn’t believe the business was investable.
Peyush was impressed by INTENSE FOCUS, but he believed that the founder needed to change their mindset and be more open to learning. However, he expressed potential interest in investing outside of the show in the future.
How is INTENSE FOCUS doing after Shark Tank India?
No deal was offered on the Shark Tank show, but INTENSE FOCUS is still in business and thriving in the market. They hold a strong following on Instagram, with 38.9K followers.
