Zsportstech is an Indian Startup which appeared on Shark Tank India Season 2. The founders started this business 3 years prior to their appearance. The company specializes in customizing cricket bats according to players’ body dynamics & playing styles.
Zsportstech generates through both offline and online channels. They have a brand-owned store in Mumbai and they also sell through their own website and online marketplaces. Their 2,400-square-foot retail store includes an experience centre where they measure players’ styles through several advanced sensors. Interestingly, All the bats come with maintenance kits and the brand also offers repair services.
Zsportstech has done consultation tests on over 7,000 consumers. The founders shared that their bats come in 17 different models which covers 344 kinds of playing styles. The company also charges ₹1,000 for trials in their experience centre.
Zsportstech has made a revenue of ₹15 Lakhs in FY22-23. It is important to note that this was done in just 5 months of that financial year. They finished last year with a revenue of ₹31 Lakhs. Currently, The brand is burning money on a monthly basis.

Anupam was the first shark to go out citing the business is not yet investable. Namita went out due to a lack of expertise and a small market size. Aman went out due to the small market size and the brand not having a direction. Vineeta went out due to the small total addressable market. Peyush went out because he felt like it was too early for an investment.
