The founder sought an investment of ₹75 Lakhs for 15% of the company, valuing their business at ₹5 Crores. They have sold 1,200 pieces so far due to a lack of awareness and marketing.

Aman and Ashneer go out of the deal even before Rohit finishes his initial pitch. Ashneer added that this is the most useless product. Namita went out because she felt there was no need or demand for the product. Vineeta shared the same sentiment. Anupam added that this is a solution that needs a problem; therefore, he goes out of the deal as well. With that, Sippline Drinking Shields walked out of the Tank without an offer. This was one of the shortest pitches on Shark Tank!

How is Sippline Drinking Shields doing After Shark Tank India?
Our research into Sippline Drinking Shields revealed that despite not getting a deal on Shark Tank, Rohit continued his efforts to grow his brand after the show. Rohit came on the podcast “Banter with Cheytan” in the spring of 2023 and shared that they got 124k visitors to their socials within 30 days after their appearance. He added that they engaged with trolls to increase awareness and the reach of the brand. Rohit also claimed that they have filed a defamation lawsuit against Ashneer Grover due to his comments on his products.
Despite all these efforts, we found that as of January 2024, Sippline is out of business, and their website has been down for quite some time. They have also not updated any of their socials in the last 6 months.
